Bring it on!

The last month (august) was a very very good month to me. I was officially all moved into my new apartment with my best friend, got all my loose ends tied up, really got some good things done at work, and met some new people in my life that are making things that much better. I'm in a very good place right now and I don't ever want to leave! September is going to be good too, I can feel it. Mostly because football is back and I'm going to California in 24 hours from now.

Every year I make a trip out to California to visit one of my best friends from college, Gena. She is one of those people that if we didn't speak for a month for some random reason, or life got crazy, we would still pick up right where we left off. She has often played my sounding board and is has always been my motivator to be more organized. I wish she didn't live so far away form me, but thanks to technology we speak almost every single day (woohoo G-chat!). I'm so excited to go out there I can hardly contain myself! I started flying out there in 2005 and have never missed a year since (twice in one year fro a Vegas trip and another for her wedding).
